Heartbeat Ultra 2025 – a day that moved us deeply.
Setting off at 7 a.m. in –8 degrees – while the first runners had already been out on the course for an hour – was a real challenge: frozen eyelashes, icy breaths, and water bottles slowly turning to crystals. But as the sun rose, the cold shifted into a magical moment: the route glowed golden, and with every kilometre it grew a little warmer.
We at RabbitFuel took on the journey together – not for times or personal bests, but for something bigger. We wanted to raise donations for Fontanherzen e. V. and draw attention to the little people who need our support.
Along the way, we met so many runners who kept going despite the freezing conditions. Volunteers who stood for hours in the cold, cheering, supporting, and motivating. People who pushed their limits to help others. The energy was overwhelming.
All of this to support Fontanherzen e. V. Thanks to many generous donations, we at RabbitFuel were able to raise €276 together – a contribution that brings hope and shows what can happen when community, sport, and compassion come together.
It was inspiring to see every single person give their best. That’s exactly why we do this. And we’re already looking forward to the next time.
